Stahls’ Creates Custom Jerseys for the 2020 NFL Draft

Published: April 24, 2020

Stahls’, Sterling Heights, Mich., continues partnership with Nike to personalize the jerseys players are given after being chosen in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Stahls’ and Nike have partnered for the past nine years to heat print the jerseys that are handed to players by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as the picks are announced. This year, Stahls’ supplied Goodell with a draft jersey for each of the 32 NFL teams, all featuring the number 1. Each player’s name will be absent from the jersey.

“In addition to shipping the draft jerseys to Goodell’s management team earlier this week, we are also responsible for creating a personalized jersey featuring each player’s name, which will be shipped directly to the new NFL player early next week,” says Zach Ellsworth, director fulfillment technology at Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center.

Originally scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, the 2020 NFL Draft is now being broadcast live from Goodell’s basement in Bronxville, New York. The league’s first virtual or online draft, will have decision makers, prospects, managers, and coaches electronically communicating with each other. — D.S.
