Stahls’ ID Direct, St. Clair Shores, Mich., recently hosted “D3: Design, Decorate, Deliver,” an all-day workshop held Sept. 12.
Dane Clement, Josh Ellsworth, Andy Curtiss and Ben Robinson taught the workshop, which was held at The Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
The how-to, hands-on event educated attendees on designing and decorating everything from graphic T-shirts to sports uniforms and corporate wear. It covered the latest decorating methods and products, from equipment to transfers, decals and more.
The workshop was split into two tracks. The DIY track covered how to design and create graphics using a vinyl cutter and print-and-cut machine. The second track focused on using a custom transfer service to create ready-to-apply heat graphics. Both tracks discussed the many applications and markets that make these technologies so lucrative.
