UEI Group, Overland Park, Kan., has announced a promotion and new appointment within its direct sales team.
Michael Carroll, who previously worked in the company’s customers-service department, has been promoted to direct sales professional. He will work from the company’s headquarters and will service customers located in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
In his new role, Carroll will continue providing sales and technical support for the Universal Engraving Inc. and Infinity Foils Inc. divisions, and his areas of specialty will include engraved foil stamping; embossing dies, cylinders, and flexible dies and lockup systems; as well as hot and cold foil, and makeready supplies.
The company also added Chris Penta as a direct sales professional. Based in New Jersey, he will service customers located in the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Penta has a background in sales with an emphasis in customer development. — J.L.
