Workhorse Products, Phoenix, recently introduced the Photosharp Screen Exposure System.
The unit has a 1,000-watt, metal-halide, dual-spectrum light source. It offers fast exposure times and a long lamp life, because of the instant-start system and few lamp strikes, according to the company.
Additionally, because the lamp is dual-spectrum, it is spectrally matched with both diazo- and photopolymer-sensitized emulsions.
An integrated digital time control has an auto shut-off and an auto-repeat function. It also has a hold-down blanket, vacuum hold-down, and has the capacity to hold extra large screens. The two-part cabinet can be broken down to allow it to easily fit through a doorway, and also is easy to clean and maintain, according to the company
