Tajima’s new Lochrose rhinestone attaching device, offered by Hirsch Intl., allows embroiderers to “sew” Swarovski crystals onto fabric. The specially made crystals feature a hole that allows a needle to go through to attach the crystal to the material. A clear thread is used to create a cross stitch, which holds the stone firmly in place. Crystals are stored in a tube as part of the attachment, and are available in one size and 15 colors.
