Sherpa 1.4.0 Delivers Integrated Payments, Tax Reporting, and Workflow Upgrades for Decorator Shops

Published: December 5, 2025

Ministry of Bits has released Sherpa 1.4.0, the platform’s most significant update to date, introducing integrated Stripe/Square payments, instant tax reporting, smarter pricing controls, and new scheduling protections designed specifically for decorator shops.

The update allows shops to add built-in payment links to quotes and invoices, helping customers pay deposits and balances instantly while keeping all transactions synced to the correct job. A new Tax Report provides one-click, accountant-ready CSV exports of all job tax totals.

Sherpa 1.4.0 also enhances pricing and repeat-order workflows. Shops can now link quantities across related apparel items for accurate run pricing and use custom next-tier selection in quotes. New Clone Job and Clone Screen tools streamline reorders and screen inventory management.

On the production side, Sherpa introduces Firm vs. Flexible deadlines, giving decorators more control by locking scheduling for firm in-hand dates while still allowing override when needed.

Additional refinements include cleaner PDFs, better scheduling logic, UI updates, and faster load times, which improve everyday usability across the Sherpa suite. Sherpa remains purpose-built for decorators, with locally run desktop apps, Sidekick for iPad, and the Atlas customer portal included at no extra cost.
