InkSoft Launches ‘Print or Die’ Contest

Published: May 1, 2019

InkSoft, Tempe, Ariz., is sponsoring the “Print or Die” contest, which will last all May, to coincide with National Screen-Printing Day on May 2.

InkSoft’s “Print or Die” design represents a battle cry for the decorated-apparel industry and is intended to be a tribal community badge to rally screen printers from around the world, according to the company. Contestants are encouraged to come up with a creative way to print this artwork and submit it for judging. Any decorating process is eligible, including direct or indirect screen printing, heat-applied graphics (inkjet, color laser printer, sublimation), printer/cutter transfers and decals, embroidery, digital direct-to-garment printing and signage.

Submissions should be posted on Instagram and tagged with @inksoft, @allmadeapparel, and the hashtag #printordiecontest. After May 31, finalists will be selected and posted on InkSoft’s blog for voting, which will close June 15. The winner will be determined by community votes and announced on social media, the industry press and be presented with the prize — a $500 credit from Allmade Apparel.
