2024 Impressions Expo Fort Worth Overview

Published: October 10, 2024

With a week to go until the start of the 2024 Impressions Expo in Fort Worth, Texas, (Oct. 24-26) we were thinking this might be a good time to take another look at all this year’s event has to offer.

2024 Impressions Expo Fort Worth floorplan

Over 125 exhibitors will be on hand for the 2024 Impressions Expo in Fort Worth, Texas.

First and foremost, paralleling the continued, healthy growth of the decorated-apparel industry as we whole, this year’s show looks to be bigger than ever, with over 130 companies staking out 14 percent more exhibition space overall than in years past. Attendee registrations are also on pace to set a new record.

Along these same lines, this year’s professional education conference session, which kicks off the day before the expo itself (Wednesday, Oct. 23) will be offering yet another great new lineup, with a wealth of new sessions and a host of new speakers. As always, Impressions Expo 2024 will also include a veritable who’s who of the industry’s leading brands.

On the apparel side, look for the likes of Bella+Canvas (Booth 833—bellacanvas.com); Sanmar (Booth 209—sanmar.com), which will be outfitting much of the staff at this year’s show; Lane Seven Apparel (Booth 527—lanesevenapparel.com), which will be providing buyers bags for those looking to have something to hold the many brochures and bits of swag that invariably collect at an Impressions Expo; Smart Blanks (Booth 101—smartexapparel.com); and Los Angeles Apparel (Booth 609—losangelesapparel.net).

Leaders in the Decorated Apparel Industry

Similarly, on the materials and heat-transfer side of the equation, look for custom heat-transfer and heat-press veteran STAHLS’/Transfer Express (Booths 500 and 501—stahls.com and transferexpress.com); DTF custom transfers manufacturer Ninja Transfers (Booth 2302—ninjatransfers.com), creator of a newly released 30-foot-long gang sheet option; 613 Originals (Booth 405—613originals.com); and Madeira USA (Booth 2326—madeirausa.com), creator of E-Zee Green Backing, winner of a 2024 Impressions Industry Impact (III) Award for Best New Embroidery Materials.

As for the equipment side of the equation, look for Brother International (Booth 341—brotherdtg.com), which received an III Award for its GTX Pro Direct-to-Embroidery (DTE) System; Hirsch Solutions (Booth 309—hsi.us) veteran distributor of everything from cutting-edge direct-to-garment (DTG) and embroidery tech to the latest in screen-printing gear; Grimco / ROQ (Booth 301—grimco.com and roq.us), the latter the recipient of not one but two 2024 Impressions Industry Impact (III) Awards for its ROQ E automatic screen-printing press and ROQ READY automatic DTG pre-treatment machine; and veteran machine embroidery manufacturers Barudan America Inc. (Booth 601—barudanamerica.com), Melco (Booth 716—melco.com) and Ricoma Embroidery & Printing (Booth 827—ricoma.com/US).

Live T-Shirt Screen Printing, Heat-Press Decoration

Of course, Impressions Expo—and the decorated-apparel industry as a whole—is also all about a sense of community and having fun, and this year’s event will be no exception, providing plenty of both. Specific events and activations include a Happy Hour sponsored by premium wholesale blank apparel manufacturer Tee Styled (Booth 627 – teestyled.com) set to take place at the Basic Bar on Houston Street  from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24; a live heat-press decoration demonstration alongside the show’s main entrance sponsored by STAHLS’; yet another Impressions Expo live screen-printing demonstration on the show floor; and the ever-popular Shop Talk stage, with live panel discussions taking place throughout the expo, hosted by the Ink Kitchen’s Rick Roth.
