Alternative Apparel, Atlanta, announced the launch of Alternative Youth, an eco-conscious collection of fashion basics for kids.
“We are excited to introduce this level of fashion to youth apparel in the printwear market,” says Kevin Miles, director of sales operations for Alternative Apparel. “Our customers love our basic styles, and they asked for them in youth sizes. Now they’ll have a great selection of youth clothing made with our same fabric-first, eco-friendly approach.”
Alternative collections combine naturally worn fabrications, modern fits and color palettes, and a mix of patterns and stripes, according to the company. S&S Activewear is the exclusive wholesale partner for the new youth collection, which includes 10 unisex styles in 20 colorways.
Key styles include: the Youth Keeper tee (the brand’s No. 1-sellign tee featuring super-soft fabric); the Youth Slapshot tee (a retro homage to the hockey jersey featuring contemporary color blocking); and the Youth Champ sweat shirt (an everyday crew neck sweat shirt with raglan sleeves for a vintage-inspired look).
“We want to be a destination for all of our customers’ needs for higher-end fashion basics in all sizes,” Miles says. “These styles are as soft as ever and will keep kids comfortable and confident as they grow.”
