Ash City, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, now part of the alphabroder family, recently announced that Tom Alavi has joined the company as a dedicated sales representative, covering the greater-Toronto area west territory.
In his new role, he will be responsible for building solid relationships with distributors, supporting and growing sales and acting as the point of contact for customers in the area.
Having joined the company in 2012, Alavi quickly advanced from inside sales representative to trade marketing content specialist to, most recently, inside sales supervisor. He also is known as one of the personalities of Ash City/alphabroder Canada’s weekly webinar series, “The Tom & Ang Show.” Alavi, alongside Angelo Morra, has hosted various presentations that were designed to offer insightful sales techniques and tips to distributors.
Prior to working in the promotional apparel industry, Alavi held various positions at an alternative transportation company, including vice president of operations, marketing manager and vice president of sales.
