Insta Graphic Systems Debuts Stretch Transfer

Published: April 28, 2014

Insta Graphic Systems, Cerritos, Calif., has introduced Ultraspan II, a new multipurpose, stretchable heat transfer for synthetic fabrics.

The transfer has been specifically developed for stretchable materials such as spandex, Lycra and neoprene, and is made to adhere to stretch fabric without cracking or losing shape. It is a spot-color heat transfer that is extremely soft to the touch, and delivers remarkable detail and can be printed with up to 10 colors, according to the company.

Ultraspan II allows you to add decorative and functional elements to activewear, swimsuits, wetsuits and other performance fabrics. It can be used for large graphics, small logos, tagless neck labels and more.

According to the company, Ultraspan II also is ideal as a branding tool for the medical and orthopedic industries, as it often is used as a method for private labeling items such as molded neoprene, sports braces and soft good medical devices with corporate logos and names.
