International Coatings, Cerritos, Calif., will exclusively debut a new set of prints with iconic artwork by David Edward Byrd and mosaic artist Jolino Beserra at the upcoming Impressions Expo 2020 event in Long Beach, Calif., to be held Jan. 17-19.
Byrd’s work featuring legendary musicians including Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Prince and Janis Joplin on concert posters will be on display at International Coatings’ booth 949 during the show.
International Coatings is using its AXEON non-PVC inks to capture the detail and vitality of several of Byrds’ and Beserra’s artwork. The special-effects inks accent the images with high density, glitter and new FX Gel Gloss Clear, according to the company.
International Coatings also will host a “Meet & Greet” at the booth with Byrd and Beserra on Jan. 17-18 from 10:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30 p.m.-3 pm, respectively. Beserra will unveil his latest work, a contemporary mosaic piece specially commissioned by International Coatings, that is slated to benefit two animal-rescue centers he is supporting: Pet Finder and Flying Fur Animal Rescue. Attendees can make a donation and get a T-shirt featuring a print of the design signed by the artist. — D.S.
