Kornit Digital North America, Mequon, Wisc., invites North American textile printers to the Allegro Open House event from July 27-Aug. 7 to experience the benefits of single-step, sustainable digital printing.
During the two-week event, Kornit will open its demonstration facility in Mequon, Wisc., to manufacturing brands, transfer printers, e-commerce businesses and fabric converters.
The centerpiece of the demonstration will be the Kornit Allegro roll-to-roll digital textile printer, which is based on Kornit’s NeoPigment printing technology that eliminates pre- and post-treatment processes for natural and synthetic fabrics.
The Allegro saves on energy, water, space and labor, and eliminates the entry barrier to the digital fabric printing market, according to the company.
“According to market reports, the penetration rate of digital print in textile production is growing dramatically,” says Paul Borucki, managing director of Kornit Digital North America. “That’s simply due to the efficiency and productivity advantages of digital printing. These include minimal make-ready, and greatly reduced waste. In addition, digital is environmentally safer, and consumes far less resources than conventional printing operations today. And of course, digital systems also offer personalization capabilities, generating premium revenue streams.”
