M&R Introduces Streamlined Parts Department in New Video

Published: March 28, 2016

M&R, Roselle, Ill., recently introduced its new streamlined parts department in a video featuring Parts Department Manager Kris Bochenek.

Having spent the last few years refining its parts-fulfillment system, M&R recently moved the department into its Roselle, Ill., facility.

Changes to the system include setting a lower maximum height on shelving, eliminating the need for ladders. Touchpads, scanners and the integration of bar codes with parts images make picking parts more efficient and eliminate the shipment of incorrect parts, according to the company. Additionally, the company has launched a new paperless system to reduce environmental impact.
