Nazdar Announces Rebranding, New Website

Published: November 10, 2014

Nazdar SourceOne, Shawnee, Kan., recently announced a new direction in its branding strategy.

The changes are aimed at making it easier for consumers to better identify Nazdar’s structure and understand each division’s name and purpose.

Templates and graphic elements, including all forms of marketing and communication pieces, feature a combined style to produce an immediate visual connection. While the style templates and graphic elements reflect one look, colors have been defined that are unique to each division. These changes are intended to highlight the differences between each division, while also showcasing the company’s unity.

The selected colors are shown above. All divisions will share the well-known black and red, with new colors identified for each division.

The company also announced the release of the all-new SourceOne.Nazdar.com. This expanded site offers more than 5,000 individual products from the industry’s leading manufacturers at competitive prices, according to the company.

The new site was built with the user in mind and features a number of improvements, including an enhanced shopping experience, multilayer navigation, more intuitive searching, dynamic product filtering, a mobile-device-optimized environment, responsive design, enhanced interface for tablets and mobile phones, customer reviews and feedback, customer ratings to aid in product selection, peer-based product reviews, up-to-date content, news feed of relevant industry product information, and articles and videos.

“It was important that we brought our website up to par with what our customers and consumers expect while buying product online,” says Michael Johnson, vice president of marketing. “The project was a total overhaul, in addition to completely upgrading the user interface, we tripled the amount of data we capture for products, allowing for the latest tools in product searching and selection to be available.”

In addition to the new features, the website also showcases Nazdar’s rebranding. This is best seen with the addition of blue as SourceOne’s divisional color.
