Published: December 15, 2025

Longtime ROQ.US president Ross Hunter has been appointed chief operating officer at Santa Ana, California, based screen printer Liquid Graphics Inc., for years a major ROQ customer. According to Liquid Graphics, in his new role Hunter will work alongside founder and CEO Josh Merrell and president Roy Thorsen to “guide the company’s strategic direction and accelerate its next phase of growth.”

“Ross brings a rare combination of technical expertise, operational discipline, and strategic vision,” Merrell says. “His leadership in automation and new business development aligns perfectly with our growth trajectory, and we are excited to welcome him to our executive team.”

With more than 20 years of experience in production operations, technology integration and organizational leadership, Hunter will manage the execution of Liquid Graphics’ operational strategy, the company said. His mandate will reportedly include elevating production throughput, optimizing labor efficiency, enhancing automation adoption, and leading the company’s aggressive push into new business development. Hunter will also spearhead the expansion of Liquid Graphics’ customer portfolio, leveraging his network and industry expertise to open new markets, strengthen strategic partnerships, and align operational capabilities with long-term client needs.

“This transition feels like a natural evolution,” Hunter says. “I’ve loved every minute of my journey at ROQ.US and I leave proud of what we’ve built together. The opportunity to step into a leadership role at Liquid Graphics is both exciting and humbling. I look forward to leveraging everything I’ve learned to help Liquid scale to the next level.”

A leading player in the screen-printing industry, Liquid Graphics operates a 140,000 square-foot state-of-the-art production facility and warehouse in Orange County, California, with a capacity of over 3.3 million screen print impressions per month.

“Liquid invests heavily in the latest technology while actively pioneering new methods and techniques using our highly skilled staff of apparel industry veterans,” the company says. “Leveraging our substantial scale and streamlined production processes, we focus on fulfilling large complex orders from quality conscious premium brand-name clientele with exacting compliances. This has driven the company’s remarkable growth and a diversifying catalog of services over its 20-plus years in business, attracting partnerships with some of the world’s largest and most prominent companies.”

Among the cutting-edge production technologies the company currently employs are what it describes as “15 state-of-the-art 18-color, 20 station ROQ ECO automatic printing presses, equipped with lightweight honeycomb aluminum screen printing pallets for unparalleled print quality.” For more on Liquid Graphics, go to liquidgraphicsmfg.com.
