The Education Connection portal for Farifax, Va.-based SGIA now offers a Student Internship Board where members can post available internship opportunities for both secondary and post-secondary students.
“Investing in an internship program helps develop young minds and inspire their career interests,” said Ashley Arneson, SGIA’s associate manager of education. “This is a great initiative for the sustainability of our industry’s future.”
SGIA also has revamped its educational resources to include the Support a School section that lists items available for donation to education institutions to help them stay up to date with new technologies.
Additionally, the Post-Secondary Programs resource offers a list of educator members who offer both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for students who are looking to further their education before entering the professional workforce.
