S&S Activewear, Bolingbrook, Ill., has acquired apparel wholesaler Eva Tees, Piscataway, N.J.
The addition of the East Coast company complements S&S Activewear’s 2010 acquisition of Americana Sportswear, which is located on the West Coast, according to the company. Additionally, the S&S Activewear is rebranding and renaming Eva Tees as Eva Sportswear in order to better reflect its upcoming more diverse product offering. The company also has launched an enhanced website — evasportswear.com — and will release a 372-page catalog in January.
Eva Sportswear has relocated to a larger warehouse in Robbinsville, N.J., and will add 40 new brands to its 2014 collection, including adidas Golf, Alternative, Boxercraft, Burnside, Calvin Klein, Champion, DRI DUCK, J. America, L.A. T Sportswear, MV Sport, Oakley and Sportsman Cap.
The new Eva Sportswear will make its national trade show debut at the Promotional Products Association Intl. (PPAI) Expo, which will be held Jan. 15-17 in Las Vegas. The brand will be showcased in booth 5525, along with S&S Activewear and Americana Sportswear.
The three companies will feature a similar inventory of products and brands, and will operate as separate companies.
