Sawgrass Technologies, Charleston, S.C., and ChromaLuxe, Louisville, Ky., recently teamed up for a charity project for the Lowcountry Food Bank in Charleston.
Both companies donated time and products to help decorate the Food Bank facility for its 30-year anniversary celebration, which was held Sept. 12.
Using Sawgrass sublimation ink, 21 photos of Food Bank volunteers, supporters and children’s programs participants were transferred onto ChromaLuxe panels. The photos were displayed throughout the building and conference room before the anniversary celebration.
Lowcountry Food Bank’s mission is to feed the poor and hungry of the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina by soliciting and distributing healthy food and grocery products to nonprofit agencies serving the poor, and to educate the public about domestic hunger. This year, the Lowcountry Food Bank will distribute more than 20,000,000 pounds of food.
