SAN DONÀ DI PIAVE, Italy — Atlantis Headwear returned to the ONA Short Film Festival for the fifth consecutive year, providing branded caps and live customization opportunities for attendees on San Servolo Island in Venice, Italy.
The annual independent film festival features short films exploring outdoor sports, nature and environmental issues, bringing together filmmakers and audiences interested in environmental storytelling.
For the 2026 event, Atlantis partnered with Gibi Merch to create an interactive customization experience, allowing attendees to select designs for their Atlantis Headwear x ONA caps.
The designs were applied on-site using a heat press, giving festivalgoers an opportunity to create personalized headwear during the event.
Live Heat-Press Customization Creates Interactive Experience
The collaboration demonstrated how live decoration can be incorporated into events to create customized merchandise and encourage audience participation.
Rather than offering only predecorated products, Atlantis and Gibi Merch gave attendees a choice of designs that could be applied directly to their caps.
The approach highlights the versatility of heat-transfer decoration for branded headwear, particularly in event settings where personalization can add value to promotional merchandise.
For apparel decorators and promotional products distributors, on-site customization offers an opportunity to connect merchandise with the event experience while giving attendees a personalized keepsake.
Supporting Environmental Storytelling Through Headwear
In addition to its customization activities, Atlantis supported “La Voz del Mate,” a short film examining conservation efforts and the relationship between local communities and nature in northern Argentina’s Atlantic Forest.
The company’s involvement reflects its continued partnership with ONA and its emphasis on responsible sourcing and environmental awareness.
“ONA gives us an opportunity to support environmental storytelling while connecting with attendees through headwear,” said Federico Pasini, vice president at Atlantis Headwear. “We are proud to continue this partnership and give guests a chance to create something unique during the festival.”
