Marcia Derryberry, a former editor of Impressions Magazine, Screen Printing, and The Big Picture, needs your help. After suffering from a serious stomach disease for years, her condition worsened to the point that she now has gastroparesis and Ileus (paralyzed stomach and intestines). She endured six months with a feeding tube up her nose until finally it was inserted in her tummy. She will need to be on a feeding tube for 16 hours a day for the rest of her life.
Her health has made it impossible for her to work, and she has lost her insurance. While she has applied for various government assistance programs, she is currently in a limbo period with no insurance and no funds to pay cash for the medical treatment she desperately needs.
She is in pain every day and, for the most part, completely bedridden and hooked up to a tube. To get her through this uninsured period, a fundraiser titled “Marcia’s Road To Recovery” has been launched to support her during this difficult time.

She greatly appreciates everyone who has contributed so far and anyone who contributes in the future. It’s been a difficult past few years, but hope is now on the horizon.
