OTTAWA, Ontario — CorelDRAW has released its September 2026 update for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026, adding new AI-powered vector-creation tools and workflow enhancements for graphic-design and production professionals.
Headlining the update is Text-to-vector AI, which allows users to generate editable, scalable vector artwork from text prompts or existing reference artwork. The resulting vector graphics can be further edited in CorelDRAW and scaled for applications ranging from smaller graphics to large-format output.
For decorated-apparel professionals, the capability offers another potential starting point for developing artwork that can then be refined for production.
“When we unveiled CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 in March, we were excited to introduce new AI tools to amplify our users’ artistry and enable them to take their work in new creative directions,” said Prakash Channagiri, senior director of product management for CorelDRAW. “Now, we’re bringing our AI power to the heart of what makes CorelDRAW great—vector graphics.”
AI Tools Expand CorelDRAW Vector Workflows
In addition to Text-to-vector AI, the September update introduces an enhanced PowerTRACE, CorelDRAW’s bitmap-to-vector conversion tool. According to Corel, the updated version is up to four times faster and offers improved object structure, color handling and AI-powered background removal.
Additional CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 enhancements include:
- Custom font uploads in CorelDRAW Web, allowing subscribers and maintenance customers to work with custom, brand and system fonts.
- DWG and DXF export from CorelDRAW Web for browser-based production output.
- Performance and stability improvements intended to provide smoother handling of complex files.
CorelDRAW Go and Technical Suite Receive Updates
Corel is also bringing Text-to-vector AI to CorelDRAW Go, its browser-based graphic-design application. The update adds the ability to upload custom, brand and system fonts as well.
CorelDRAW Technical Suite 2026 receives the new Graphics Suite features, including Text-to-vector AI, while its 3D CAD tools add updated import support for newer 3D CAD file formats.
