Houston, Texas—Kati Sportcap & Bag, a family-owned and operated source for caps and bags in the promotional products industry, has launched an Amazon wish list to support disaster recovery efforts following the devastating floods that recently struck the Central Texas Hill Country.
As part of this effort, Kati Sportcap & Bag will be delivering the donated items directly by truck to boots on the ground charity organizations. The following items are urgently needed to support those impacted by the flood:
- Hygiene items such as toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant and feminine products
- Nonperishable food items
- Baby supplies such as diapers, formula and wipes,
- Children’s toys and crafts
- Cleaning products
- Pet food and supplies
- Clothing items such as socks, shoes, underwear and undershirts (all sizes needed, new garments only, please).
“This devastating flood is being recognized as one of the deadliest and most destructive in Texas history, with damages estimated between $18 billion and $22 billion and thousands of Texans directly impacted,” the company says. “As a proud member of the Texas community, Kati Sportcap stands in unwavering support of those affected and is committed to helping in every way it can.”
Kati Sportcap & Bag is now accepting donations through its Amazon wish list and in person. The wish list is expected to remain open through Friday, July 18. Individuals can support the ongoing flood recovery efforts by purchasing items from the Kati Sportcap Hill Country Disaster Relief Fund Amazon wish list linked here.
