Printing specialist Epson has unveiled what it is calling its SureColor F1070 Business Edition printer, a “complete garment printing system designed for entrepreneurial creators ready to launch or grow their apparel business.”
According to Epson, the all-in-one solution includes everything needed to start printing high-quality merchandise from day one, without outsourcing or additional guesswork. Specific items include the SureColor F1070 hybrid direct-to-film (DTF/DTFilm) and direct-to-garment (DTG) printer and a comprehensive set of inks and maintenance supplies to empower serious creators to bring their designs to life on a wide range of fabrics and products.

Configured for ease of use in smaller shops, garages or any other production space where square footage is at a premium, the SureColor F1070 is also equipped with a set of transparent viewing panels with an eye toward enhancing professional printing process. Per the company, “The SureColor F1070 combines outstanding image quality, easy operation and incredibly flexible performance. Featuring a PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology coupled with UltraChrome DG2 ink with CMYK+Wh, the SureColor F1070 reliably delivers vibrant colors and incredible detail with amazing clarity.”
Inks are certified by OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORTand CPSIA-compliant, making them safe for apparel worn by adults, kids and babies. Additional features include automatic garment height adjustment, with the ability to print on a variety of fabric up to 1-inch thick; innovative touchscreen menu for effortless use; and an automated maintenance system, including a fabric wiper cassette and capping station to maintain printhead integrity.
