Vastex International has introduced the ERVP-VI-24, a high-capacity, three-chamber conveyor dryer engineered to meet the production and ventilation demands of modern DTF, DTG and screen-printing operations.
Delivering 46,800 watts (46.8 kW) of power, the ERVP-VI-24 cures:
- Up to 900 DTF-printed images per hour
- Up to 900 water-based or discharge prints per hour
- Up to 2,700 plastisol prints per hour
In addition to high throughput, the dryer actively exhausts off-gases from the shop environment, a growing concern for DTF operations.
Engineered for DTF Production Environments
Unlike conventional multi-purpose dryers, the ERVP-VI-24 is designed to meet the specific needs of DTF shops. The system condenses glycol off-gases into a removable liquid vessel while exhausting remaining vapor outside the workspace.
Filtered make-up air is drawn through the top-center of each heating chamber and routed through double-wall construction to cool the outer skin and chamber edges, enhancing operator safety. Preheated air replaces exhausted air along each side of the belt, preventing airflow disruptions that could disturb lightweight DTF films during curing.
Operator controls allow precise adjustment of airflow to accommodate varying garment weights and substrates.
Modular Design for Scalable Growth
The ERVP-VI-24 is a three-chamber expansion of Vastex’s single-chamber ERVP-VI-24 model. Its modular construction allows decorators to scale capacity without replacing the entire unit.
“The modularity of ERVP dryers permits customers to purchase only what they need for current requirements, and when needs increase to expand the unit by adding heating chambers and lengthening the conveyor belt, allowing belt speeds (capacity) to be doubled or tripled without buying a new dryer,” said Mark Vasilantone, president of Vastex International.
Conveyor belt speeds are infinitely adjustable from 1 to 54 feet per minute (16.5 m/min, depending on application), giving shops flexibility across decoration methods.
Supporting the Full Print Ecosystem
Vastex manufactures 32 models of conveyor dryers for DTG, DTF and screen printing applications, along with DTF powder applicators, screen printing presses, flash cure units, screen exposing units, screen drying cabinets and prepress equipment. The company also offers training programs for entry-level through advanced screen printers.
