Imperial Named No. 1 Golf Headwear Brand by AGM for Ninth Consecutive Year

Association of Golf Merchandisers membership study recognizes Imperial’s continued leadership in golf headwear, customization and embellishment innovation

BOURBON, Mo.—Imperial has once again been recognized as the No. 1 headwear brand for private and resort golf facilities by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM), marking the ninth consecutive year the company has earned the distinction.

The recognition is based on AGM’s annual membership study, which surveyed members across the golf retail industry. According to the results, Imperial captured 36% of total votes, nearly three times the share of the next closest brand at 13%.

Product Innovation and Customization Drive Growth

Imperial attributed its continued success to ongoing investments in product development, embellishment innovation and customization capabilities designed to support golf retailers and decorators.

The company continues expanding its offerings through modern silhouettes, advanced fabrications and decoration techniques while maintaining fast turnaround times and low minimum order requirements for golf shops and retail partners.

Imperial also maintained strong performance across all golf facility categories, particularly among private clubs, where it remains the top-selling headwear brand among survey respondents. The brand additionally holds the top spot in combined on- and off-course golf retail channels, according to Golf Datatech.
