Hotronix, Carmichaels, Pa., has introduced four new optional platens, allowing customers to expand their decorating capabilities and heat print on items of various sizes, shapes and styles.
The platens include: the MVP “Most Valuable Platen,” which measures 11” x 15” and is ideal youth- and women’s-size garments; the Round Bagger, which has a 7-inch diameter and is designed for personalizing or adding a team logo to the ends of duffle bags, decorating gym bags and backpacks; the Tote Master, which is 8” x 10” and can be used for printing on polypropylene shopping bags; and the Shortstop, which measures 6” x 10” and can be used for decorating sleeves, pant legs and youth-size garments.
They are available for all Hotronix and MAXX brand heat presses, and can be removed and interchanged easily, according to the company.
