IRVINE, Calif. — Roland DG Americas has entered into a strategic partnership with LogoJET, expanding the companies’ reach in the growing direct-to-object UV printing and product-personalization markets.
Under the agreement, LogoJET will add select Roland DG large-format, benchtop and desktop UV flatbed printers to its existing equipment portfolio. The expanded lineup will allow LogoJET to offer solutions ranging from entry-level desktop customization equipment to higher-volume, large-format production systems.
Partnership Expands Direct-to-Object Printing Options
The agreement is designed to complement LogoJET’s existing direct-to-object equipment, including its R-Series UVx40R PLUS-SE and UVx90R-SE direct-to-substrate printers.
For Roland DG Americas, the partnership provides access to LogoJET’s experience with integrated production solutions for product decoration and personalization, including application expertise, custom trays and fixtures, workflow support and customer training.
“We are extremely excited about our new partnership with LogoJET,” says Dan Johansen, vice president of business development at Roland DGA.
Johansen says Roland DGA sees continued growth opportunities in industrial printing as direct-to-object manufacturing expands, with the LogoJET partnership providing another avenue for reaching customers in that market.
LogoJET Broadens UV Printing Portfolio
LogoJET founder and CEO Susan Cox says the partnership provides the company with a faster path for expanding its equipment offerings.
“This relationship lets us say ‘yes’ to more of what our customers are asking for,” Cox says.
By incorporating Roland DG equipment, LogoJET expects to serve a broader range of UV direct-to-object applications, with systems spanning different price points, bed sizes and production requirements. LogoJET will continue supporting the equipment with services including training, custom trays and application expertise.
Among the Roland DG systems being added to the LogoJET portfolio are the VersaStudio BD-12 desktop UV flatbed printer and VersaObject RC-300 cylindrical UV printer.
LogoJET, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Lafayette, La., specializes in direct-to-object UV printing and provides application testing, custom trays and fixtures, workflow software, installation, operator training and technical support in addition to its printing systems.
