Air Waves Inc., Lewis Center, Ohio, recently announced the sale of its digital transfer paper division to Joto Paper Inc.
Air Waves has been providing apparel-decorating services for more than 33 years. “We feel this transition will greatly benefit our customers that have needs for digital products and also will provide Air Waves the ability to focus on our custom screen printing, screen-printed and litho-printed heat transfers, and fulfillment services,” said Michael Leaventon, COO of Air Waves. “With our customer’s increasing demands for quality, innovation and service, we feel the need to focus on our core competencies in order to gain efficiencies.”
For more than 25 years, Joto has been providing digital decorating solutions and supplies for the garment decoration industry. The company’s vast selection of products includes digital heat transfer papers for color laser copiers and printers, heat transfer papers for inkjet printers, heat transfer vinyl and wide format print-n-cut, and heat transfer material for use in solvent, eco-solvent and pigment printers.
