Hotronix Unveils Dual Air Fusion Heat Press at ISS Atlantic City

Published: March 14, 2014

Hotronix, St. Clair Shores, Mich., a division of GroupeSTAHL, unveiled a new addition to its heat press line — a model that features two individual platens — at ISS Atlantic City.
The new heat press, the Dual Air Fusion, features “A” and “B” workstations that can operate independently or in unison. According to the company, this configuration makes the press nearly 50% more efficiently than a standard, swinger-style heat press.

“Some people don’t consider time when decorating,” said Brian Sukarukoff, CEO of GroupeSTAHL. “Time is one of the key factors in pricing a job. Time is money. [With this new heat press], our goal was to increase productivity.”

The Dual Air Fusion also includes an optional laser-alignment system (sold separately for $500). Four independently adjustable lasers per platen enable precision alignment of graphics for full-front, left-chest and other applications.

“We recognized the demand and need for such a heat press, especially for decorators doing mixed-media applications on the same garment,” said Ben Robinson, general manager of Hotronix. “High- and medium-volume decorators now have a machine that empowers them to double down on performance, productivity and, ultimately, profits.”

The machine’s two 16” x 20” platens, which are interchangeable and can be customized, are fully threadable, which means designs can be added to the fronts and backs of garments without them being removed from the machine.

Additional specs include: 220-volt power, cast-in tubular heating element, touchscreen control panel with programmable settings and auto-adjust pressure. The MSRP for the Dual Air Fusion is $5,995.
