Haggar Clothing Co., Dallas, is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its LK Life Khaki brand. LK Life Khaki pants are made with a blend of cotton and Unifi Inc.’s REPREVE fibers, which are made of recycled materials, including plastic bottles.
Each of Haggar Clothing’s LK Life Khaki pants contains the equivalent of seven recycled plastic bottles. It is estimated that within the first year of production of the brand, more than 14 million plastic bottles have been recycled, according to the company.
The LK Life Khaki collection features an array of fits, including slim, relaxed and straight. The line is available in more than 4,000 locations, including leading department stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as online.
