SPSI is hosting a workshop on how to create complex combination screen printed and digitally printed designs.
The workshop, which will be held Sept. 11-13 at SPSI’s Maple Grove, Minn., location, will use a Workhorse Falcon E 10-color screen printing press from Workhorse Products, Phoenix. The Kornit Paradigm digital printer also will be used in one head of the press.
Other combinations that will be showcased include flock, foil, metallics, glitter and high-density inks; dark garment printing applications; and variable data within a screen printing application.
The Falcon E Series of automatic presses are designed for high production and can be used either as a standard-sized press, or an oversized press by removing every other head and using large-format 40” x 50” duplex platens, according to the company.
The Kornit Paradigm is an industrial direct-to-garment digital printer for screen printing carousel presses. It enables decorators to combine traditional screen printing with digital printing techniques.
