SAAGNY Recognizes Industry Leaders at Annual Awards Dinner

The Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY), New Rochelle, N.Y., recently announced the winners of the association’s annual awards during its Annual Meeting, held in the Bronx, N.Y.  

This year’s awards included Supplier, Distributor, Multiline Representative, Customer Service Representative and a Humanitarian of the Year, as well as several new awards, including those for Supplier Representative of the Year and the Supplier Technology Award and Distributor Technology Award. The Past President and Linda Robinson Scholarship Award winners also were announced.

The winners of these awards were all nominated and voted on by the association’s members in balloting conducted in early October.  A selection committee determined the winners of the Linda Robinson Scholarship Award, the SAAGNY Past President Scholarship Awards and the SAAGNY Rising Star Award.

Distributor Technology Award: Motivators Inc., Westbury, N.Y.

Individual Awards
Multiline Representative of the Year: Jean Carboni, Mike Valentini Promotions, Lancaster, Pa.
Customer Service Representative of the Year: Jamie Stone, Hit Promotional Products, Largo, Fla.
Supplier Representative of the Year: Charlie Bacon III, Bodek & Rhodes, Philadelphia
Humanitarian of the Year: Shirley Bennett, Vantage Apparel, Avenel, N.J.
Linda Robinson Scholarship Award: Bill Alonge, MAS, On Target Impressions, Massapequa Park, N.Y.
Past President Scholarships: Adam Brown, Motivators Inc., Westbury, N.Y.; Jeff Laniado, Progressive Promotions, Englewood, N.J.; and Rhonda Reilly, CPS/Keystone, Erie, Pa.
Rising Star Award: David Witbeck, Broadway Marketing, Albany, N.Y.
