RhinoTech Supports Diabetes Research

Published: May 6, 2014

RhinoTech Inc., Eagan, Minn., is the sponsor for Team Michael of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Company representatives participated in the Walk for the Cure, held April 12 in Sarasota, Fla., to help raise important funds that will go toward research to help find a cure for Type 1 Insulin Dependent Diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune disease that affects children and young adults. As a team sponsor, RhinoTech donates all team T-shirts and company employees volunteered on committees. This year, the shirts were printed with the firm’s SingleJet heat transfer paper, including those worn exclusively by the dog team members, Cokie and Lacy.

JDRF is the largest charitable supporter of T1D research. Because more than 80% of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research-related education, the organization was named one of Forbes magazine’s top five All-Star charities in 2012, citing the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.
