Hotronix, Carmichaels, Pa., recently announced that its Fusion IQ heat press was selected as the 2018 SGIA Product of the Year in the Heat Press (Table-Top) category.
One of 255 entries in the competition, the Fusion IQ includes an array of features for easier setup, use, tracking, troubleshooting and management. An updated controller with a larger, sharper LCD screen provides an enhanced user interface, while upgraded touch-screen technology allows time, temperature and pressure to be set more easily so recipes can be modified and saved for faster setups. The IQ also offers real-time digital readouts and unlimited preset programs.
Other features include advanced self-diagnostics; pop-out controller replacement; onboard SD data card/cloud backup; and online access to reporting for more effective production management. The IQ also has a patented dual function and can operate as a swing-away or draw press for a heat-free workspace.
SGIA Product of the Year winners will receive their awards at a special presentation the evening before the 2018 SGIA Expo, to be held Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas. All entries will be displayed in the Golden Image/Product of the Year Gallery in Hall C2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Hotronix Fusion IQ will be on display at the Stahls’ booth (1615).
