Not to take anything away from all that great stuff out there on the Impressions Expo Fort Worth show floor, but at the end of the most important piece of equipment you and every other apparel decorator out there possesses is your brain.

Enter the 2024 Fort Worth Impressions Expo Conference series, a smorgasbord of sessions designed to take both your career and your gray matter to a whole new level. In fact, organized in a series of tracks, this year’s conference series promises to be better than ever, with sessions covering everything from heat pressing and screen printing to panel discussions on the uses of AI, the ins and out of effective online market and everything in between.

This year’s conference sessions kickoff Wednesday, Oct. 23, the day before the rest of the expo,  with a deep dive into the fundamentals of a range of different decorating techniques featuring some of the biggest name in the business. Highlights include industry veterans Charlie Taublieb of Taublieb Consulting and Dane Clement, president of Great Dane Graphics teaching an all-day class titled “Screen Printing Fundamentals: From Supercharged Artwork to Final Print” and the crew from STAHLS’ Transfer Express with a class on heat-press fundamentals and another one of the company’s popular STAHLS’ Pro Days.

Also be sure and check out veteran embroider Mitchell Smith of AllCity Group LLC and his session on digitizing, and Trouble Me Knot Embroidery’s Katie Wubben’s talk on pricing and profitability masterclass and her session titled “Embroidery Essentials: A Hands on Workshop for Boosting Confidence and Perfecting Technique.”
