Anatol Equipment and Culture Apparel Studio will be co-hosting a screen-printing open house and after-hours mixer on February 20, 2025, in the Culture Apparel Studio facility in Houston, Texas.
Culture Apparel Studio went into business in 2018 with the intent of being a solely service-based apparel decoration shop. This means Culture spends more time producing and less time making sales, as it prints for smaller print shops or brokers who work with the end-user directly. Culture has heavily relied on Anatol screen printing equipment since its inception, with the relationship continuing to grow through events like the one taking place this month.
“At Anatol, we’re really proud and excited to be a part of Culture’s growth and success. It’s rewarding to see what they’ve accomplished with our products,” says Anatol marketing director Alex Sroka.
This year’s edition puts a new spin on what has become an annual event, with special evening hours (from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST) making it that much more accessible for busy screen printers.
“We run a very busy shop, ensuring we are able to help other apparel decoration shops, therefore we know stepping away from valuable production hours is tough,” says Kendra Messer, owner of Culture Apparel Studio. “We want to make sure those who haven’t made it to an event like this before can stop by this time.”
Messer adds: “The evening event also offers a different change of pace, because we want people to see all of the Anatol products and be able to explain why they will be helpful in their own shop. Not often do you get opportunities to build these types of close relationships and gain respect for your peers in the industry. We have a huge open-door policy here, and we are constantly welcoming either new clients or future purchasers of Anatol Equipment.”
This event also promises to be a fun experience suitable for the whole family, with door prizes from One Stroke Ink, GSF and Lee’s Supply, as well as games, food and drinks, live music and some special gear giveaways printed with black light ink from One Stroke. Anatol Equipment will even be raffling off an ink mixer to one lucky attendee, “You can win a mixer…at our mixer!” Anatol’s Sroka says.
The mixer will feature live screen-printing demonstrations on Anatol screen printing equipment, including the all-electric Volt automatic press. Members of both the Culture Apparel Studio and Anatol Equipment teams will be on hand to answer questions related to equipment, screen printing techniques and the apparel decoration business. According to Messer, “You will be walking away with more knowledge than you came with. We hope you take this time to ask all the important questions and not be shy.”
Culture Apparel Studio is located at 301 Bennington St #A, Houston, Texas 77022. The event takes place from 4pm to 8pm CST and is free to attend.
