SAN DONÀ DI PIAVE, Italy — Atlantis Headwear is taking custom headwear beyond traditional logo placement through a collaboration with BigRock, a computer graphics and digital arts school, for its 2026 BigTour across the United States.

Atlantis created custom caps for students participating in the educational journey, which combines travel, creative exchange and real-world experiences. Students are being challenged to incorporate the headwear into photography and visual storytelling inspired by the people and places they encounter throughout the trip.

Atlantis Dad Hat Five Joins the BigTour

For the collaboration, Atlantis selected its Dad Hat Five, an unstructured five-panel cap constructed from 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton.

The lightweight style also features a recycled ReTraze visor and adjustable metal closure.

Rather than limiting the project to conventional logoed merchandise, Atlantis and BigRock instructors developed an open-ended creative challenge. Selected headwear styles are traveling with students across the country, becoming part of photographs and compositions inspired by their experiences.

Students can wear the caps, position them within a scene or incorporate them into larger compositions, giving participants freedom to interpret the product individually.

Custom Headwear Becomes Part of the Brand Experience

For promotional-products distributors and decorators, the collaboration demonstrates how customized merchandise can become more than a branded giveaway.

By connecting a physical product with an interactive experience, Atlantis says the project illustrates how headwear can encourage engagement and creativity while building a longer-lasting connection between participants and an organization or event.

“Promotional headwear has the opportunity to do more than display a logo,” says Marco Bortolotti, head of sales and marketing at Atlantis Headwear. “This project gives students the freedom to interact with the product creatively and make it part of their own experience. That connection is what can make branded headwear memorable.”

The collaboration also gives Atlantis an opportunity to see its products through the perspectives of emerging creatives while highlighting ways distributors can incorporate custom headwear into broader promotional campaigns.

Blank Atlantis styles are distributed through Sportsman Cap & Bag and promotional-products distributors nationwide.
