Gelato Names New Chief Revenue Officer

Published: February 27, 2024

Software-networking company, Gelato, has announced Bobby Edmundowicz as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Edmundowicz will focus on capturing the commercial momentum and opportunities across Gelato’s business units. With this charge, he will lead Gelato’s sales, commercial partnerships, customer success, and acquisition teams, as well as accelerate the growth of the company’s U.S. network and partner ecosystem.

“By offering global ecommerce players local production of art, apparel, books, and drinkware, across 32 countries, Gelato supports the rapidly expanding creator economy,” says Henrik Müller-Hansen, founder and CEO of Gelato. “With an expanded product portfolio and software services for creator customers, as well as a focus on amplifying our software for production partners, Bobby’s unique experience within sales operations and growing SaaS companies, will help us accelerate our growth.”

Over the past year, Gelato more than doubled its U.S. customer base and sales, onboarded 12 new U.S. production partners, and named Atlanta its U.S. headquarters, according to the company. In 2024, Gelato will continue to add to its U.S. team, planning to triple the headcount by year’s end.

Another area of focus is expanding Gelato’s production software offering to further accelerate customer growth and production efficiency, which is where Edmundowicz’s software development and B2B expertise will be invaluable.

“The organizations where you make the biggest difference are the ones where you believe in the mission,” says Edmundowicz. “As soon as I learned about Gelato and met the team, I was all in. I look forward to working with our customers to identify opportunities to grow their businesses. When our customers succeed, all our partners and stakeholders do, too. And, local businesses and the planet benefit as well.”
