Looking to take your apparel screen printing to the next level? Look no further than New England Printfest 2024, set to take place June 21-22 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Organized by the Ink Kitchen, Mirror Image Inc. and veteran decorated-apparel equipment and materials supplier SPSI, the event has been expressly configured in provide a platform whereby some of the industry’s leading experts can share their knowledge.
According to organizers: “This event is designed for you, the production screen printer. The schedule is filled with educational content not a sales pitch. The modest admission is to cover some costs, and more importantly make a contribution to Bay-Cash, non-profit…a local organization having a positive impact on the growing number of homeless young people in Massachusetts.”

Knowing how busy today’s decorated-apparel professionals are, event organizers are offering prospective attendees the option of signing up for either one or two days. All training and seminars will be done on equipment at the Mirror Image shop in Pawtucket, a full production decorated-embroidery shop complete with an MHM Synchroprint 5000, MHM Synchroprint 3000, MHM X Type Plus, Douthitt CTS, Tajima Embroidery and much more.
Costs for those who register before June 7 are $129 per person for Friday only, $179 for both Friday and Saturday. Specifics topics and sessions on offer will include those on artificial intelligence and the decorated-apparel industry with veteran decorator Michelle Moxley; poster printing with acclaimed printer Andy MacDougall; pre-press/proper screen making with Saati’s Greg Jensen; and proper setup on an automatic press with Tony Palmer of Palmprint Consulting.
