Roland DG has introduced EUV-H (EUV-HP7), a new industrial-grade UV hard ink designed to help print providers produce more durable, premium-quality applications across a wide range of industrial and commercial markets. Now available through authorized Roland DGA dealers, the ink offers enhanced scratch, chemical, and weather resistance while supporting customized, short-run production.
Built for Demanding Production Environments
Designed for functional printing without compromising image quality, EUV-H is compatible with rigid substrates including plastic, glass, and metal. The ink lineup includes CMYK, White, Gloss, and a newly developed Primer formulated to improve adhesion on difficult surfaces, expanding the range of printable materials and end-use applications. According to Roland DG, the ink is well suited for producing durable parts, electronics, packaging, promotional products, and other industrial graphics.
Expanding Industrial Printing Opportunities
Roland DG says EUV-H is intended to help businesses move into higher-value production by enabling longer-lasting printed products while maintaining production flexibility. The company notes the ink is compatible with existing VersaObject MO Series benchtop UV flatbed printers and is designed to work with upcoming VersaObject industrial printing systems, including the RC-300 Series cylindrical printers and IO-300 UV flatbed printer planned for release later this year.
Safety and Sustainability Focus
In addition to durability, EUV-H was developed with workplace safety and environmental considerations in mind. Roland DG says the formulation reduces the characteristic odor associated with UV printing while avoiding nickel, SVHC, and CMR substances that are subject to strict regulatory controls.
