Hirsch Intl. Temperature Heat Sensors

Hirsch Intl. now offers a temperature sensor option for for its line of quartz flash-cure units. Without a sensor, operators set the dwell time using an adjustable timer. This requires using a trial-and-error method often resulting in either not enough time to gel the ink surface or too much time, which can scorch the shirt, waste energy and create unwanted heat buildup. The company’s new sensor reads the temperature of the ink surface. Once the desired temperature is reached, the flash automatically turns off.
