Ninja Transfers has announced the launch of VIVID AF (Advanced Finish), a new Direct to Film printing standard that significantly expands color range and accuracy for custom apparel decorators while keeping pricing, workflows, and press settings unchanged.
VIVID AF moves beyond traditional 5 color CMYK plus White DTF printing by introducing a 9 color system using CMYK + RGBO + White, unlocking more than 16.7 million colors. The result is noticeably brighter prints, smoother gradients, and improved Pantone accuracy, particularly in traditionally difficult tones like oranges, greens, and violets.
Unlike many print upgrades that require new pricing tiers or special setup, VIVID AF is now included automatically on all Ninja Transfers DTF orders at no additional cost. Customers do not need to change artwork files, heat press settings, or production workflows to benefit from the expanded color gamut.
“As custom apparel continues to move toward more detailed, design driven work, color accuracy has become a real bottleneck for decorators,” said Victor Ilisco, director of business development at Ninja Transfers. “VIVID AF was developed to remove that limitation. It gives creators access to a much wider and more accurate color range while keeping the process simple and affordable.”
The new Advanced Finish also improves gradient smoothness and fine detail reproduction, making it particularly valuable for illustrated artwork, photo based designs, and brand sensitive logos. Despite the expanded color capabilities, durability remains unchanged, with prints rated for 100 plus washes and compatible with the same wide range of fabrics Ninja customers already use.
VIVID AF is now live across NinjaTransfers.com, replacing standard CMYK plus white output as the default DTF print method.
