Siser North America is marking National Crafting Month with the return of its Siser After Dark educational series, offering crafters and apparel decorators two free virtual classes focused on creative heat-transfer vinyl (HTV) techniques.
The March sessions will highlight the dimensional effects of Easy Puff HTV and demonstrate how decorators can mimic embroidery using specialty HTV materials.
Perfecting Puff HTV Techniques
The first class, “Siser After Dark: Perfecting Puff HTV,” will take place Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m. ET and will be led by Patrick Ali, Siser’s Lead Educator.
During the live session, Ali will walk participants through techniques, tips and application methods designed to help decorators achieve the best results with Easy Puff HTV, a specialty vinyl known for its raised, dimensional finish.
The class is designed to help beginners and experienced decorators alike better understand the application process and unlock the full creative potential of puff-style heat transfer vinyl.

Creating an Embroidery Look Without a Needle
The second class, “Siser After Dark: Embroidery Without Embroidering!” will take place Monday, March 23 at 7 p.m. ET and will feature Ali alongside Dani from TheArtsofDani.
In this session, the instructors will demonstrate how decorators can create the appliqué-style look of embroidery using HTV effects rather than traditional stitching. The technique offers a creative option for crafters and apparel decorators looking to add dimensional decoration without embroidery equipment.
“March is National Crafting Month, so of course we had to host more After Dark classes,” said Ali. “Easy Puff has skyrocketed in popularity and so have questions about how to use it. We wanted to address those head-on with a dedicated virtual event. But we also wanted to expose our audience to new decoration solutions they may not be familiar with, which is why Dani the embroidery expert was the perfect person to bring on the show.”
Free Virtual Learning for Crafters and Decorators
Both Siser After Dark classes are free to attend virtually with advance registration. Interested participants can register through the Events section of the Siser North America Facebook page.
For those unable to attend live, recordings will be posted on the Siser North America YouTube channel approximately 24 hours after the classes conclude.
