Hanover, Pennsylvania-based L2 Brands, a leading headwear manufacturer known for such iconic brands as Legacy and Locale, recently announced it has taken on industry veteran Chris O’Connor as it continues what the company describes as its “journey of growth and innovation.”
With more than 25 years of experience in the promotional products industry, O’Connor has been instrumental in driving sales and growth for several of the sector’s leading suppliers and distributors. He now brings that expertise to L2 Brands as the newly appointed vice president of business development.
Supporting L2 Brands’ Expansion in the Promotional Products Industry
In his new role O’Connor will work closely with President Marc Held and Chief Merchandising Officer Lisa Norris and play a key part in driving continued growth and expanding the company’s footprint within the promotional products industry. By fostering strong relationships, supporting sales initiatives and providing strategic leadership, the company said O’Connor is poised to further accelerate the success of L2 Brands in the promo industry.
“I understand how important relationships are in this industry, and I am thrilled to be able to share my knowledge of the amazing Legacy and Locale lines with our customers to help grow their business with our products,” O’Connor said.
O’Connor began his career at the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) in distributor sales, where he built a strong foundation in the industry. He later spent 16 years at Bodek and Rhodes—advancing from inside sales to national sales and managing key accounts—through its acquisition by alphabroder. Most recently, O’Connor served as vice president of sales at NC Custom for nine years before joining L2 Brands.
Premium, Vintage-inspired Blank Apparel and Headwear
“We are thrilled to have Chris lead the charge in the promotional products industry,” Held said. “Chris’ expertise in sales leadership makes him the ideal choice to build this department from the ground up and drive our mission forward.”
Since its founding in the 1990s, League and Legacy have both made a name for themselves by producing premium, vintage-inspired apparel, headwear and décor. Merging in 2018 to form L2 Brands, they continue to combine on-trend design, custom graphics, and exceptional service across collegiate, resort, corporate and golf markets.
