Here at Impressions, we (alas!) do not have anything in the way of any kind of lab space or testing facilities. Nonetheless, the promise of DTG Pro/MagicLine’s MagicSeal is such that we still deemed it worthy of inclusion. In a nutshell, what the product (which is available in both sheet and liquid forms) does is work to improve the feel, washability and breathability of a DTF transfer. To use, simply spray or place the product on a DTF transfer after the initial pressing and then press again. That’s it. Full disclosure, MagicSeal has received mixed reviews online. That said, among those reviews have been more than a few rave ones, making the product, in our minds at least, still very much worthy of consideration as far as this year’s awards are concerned. Bottom line, while MagicSeal (one of a number of “Magic” DTF products, including MagicInk, MagicPowder, MagicMix and MagicFoil) might not be for everyone, we think it could make a lot of sense for more than a few shops out there.
