Hotronix, Carmichaels, Pa., has added a touch screen control panel to the Air Fusion semi-automatic heat press.
This technology allows the operator to preprogram time, temperature and pressure settings for various decorating methods and save them by name. It shortens the learning curve for newcomers and eliminates guesswork with heat applications, according to the company.
Users no longer have to manually push multiple buttons as jobs range from plastisol transfers to digital direct-to-garment prints to vinyl cut graphics. The touch screen’s auto on/off function turns the press on at the start of the day and off at the end. Control panel upgrades provided by the manufacturer can be uploaded via a USB port.
Additional features include eight language options and a password interface, allowing creation of up to three passwords.
