Vastex International has introduced a new 120-volt version of its RedFlash Infrared Flash Cure Unit, giving screen-printing shops without access to a 240-volt receptacle another option for high-performance flash curing.
The new RD-18-120 is an 18-inch-square, 1,950-watt unit that complements Vastex’s existing 240-volt, 2,600-watt model of the same size.
“With the new 120-volt RedFlash, customers lacking a 240-volt receptacle need not forgo high-performance flash curing of screen-printed garments,” says Mark Vasilantone, president of Vastex.
Designed for Precise, Repeatable Flash Curing
The RD-18-120 features a low-profile, 2.75-inch head, digital temperature control for precise and repeatable settings, an integrated cooling fan and a heavy-duty floor stand.
An optional Auto-Flash upgrade connects directly to the unit and adds HMI controls. With the touch of a foot pedal, the system rotates the curing head into position over the pallet before automatically moving it away after a user-adjustable dwell time. According to Vastex, the system is designed to help prevent both over- and under-flashing of garments.
A Rotary Pallet Adapter equipped with two vented steel pallets also is available, allowing the RedFlash to perform drying in addition to flash curing.
All RedFlash Infrared Flash Cure Units include a five-year heater warranty and come standard with a head leveler for parallel pallet alignment, extra-large side handles, heat controls with power indicator lights and a vertical adjustment collar providing 360-degree rotation.
Vastex also manufactures flash cure units up to 18 inches by 24 inches with heaters rated up to 3,500 watts at 240V, along with conveyor dryers and other equipment for screen-printing, DTF and DTG production.
