ColDesi Inc., Tampa, Fla., recently reported record sales for the month of May at its Southern California office.
ColDesi expanded to the West Coast in January 2013 after more than a decade of supplying apparel decorating systems from its headquarters in Tampa, Fla. The California office originally opened as a support, service and demonstration center to support the company’s Western customer base, but was expanded into a full sales office in April 2013 due to customer demand.
ColDesi is the exclusive distributor for the DTG brand of direct-to-garment printers and CAMS automatic rhinestone setting machines, both of which are keystone products for the apparel decorating, fashion, logo wear and custom T-shirt businesses in Southern California and the Southwest. ColDesi also is a distributor of SWF embroidery machines. The list of ColDesi customers includes small entrepreneurial ventures and home-based businesses, as well as brands like Old Gringo, Lands End, Foot Locker, D&G, Target and more.
Joseph Park, lead salesperson in the California office, cited a great product line and the popularity of creating custom T-shirts and rhinestone wear in the Los Angeles area as the biggest contributors to sales.
