Stahls’ ID Direct, St. Clair Shores, Mich., is offering customers the opportunity to join Ted and Mary Stahl for the 2013 Great Race.
The Great Race is an annual cross-country antique car race presented by Hemmings Motor News and Hagerty, which offers classic and collector car insurance. Open only to pre-World War II vehicles, the race challenges drivers and their guests to meet specific timelines in efforts to get a perfect score. Electronic devices are not permitted, and each driver must rely solely on a compass and map.
This year’s Great Race route begins June 22 in St. Paul, Minn., and will end June 30 in Mobile, Ala. Ted and Mary Stahl will travel in their 1934 Ford Phaeton. To enter to win the opportunity to join them for the race, customers can visit facebook.com/spiritofstahls now through June 7. Several winners will be announced on June 10, each as a special guest to ride along for a segment of the race.
